3. A temperature-compensated crystal oscillator (TCXO) is a type of crystal oscillator that reduces the amount of oscillation frequency variation caused by changes in ambient temperature through an additional temperature compensation circuit. It is mainly used in wireless systems, communication equipment, GPS navigation,etc.
